You play as a young girl wandering alone through the city of Kassel in 1811 — searching for a place to live, and ultimately, for herself.
Along her journey, she encounters a variety of people: some offering kindness and support, others threatening to corrupt her fragile sense of self.
And Slowly I Was Dying is a unique point-and-click adventure that blends classic gameplay mechanics with a deeply emotional, burdensome narrative.
It tells a story about identity, self-determination, and the struggle for self-acceptance.
A poetic and haunting experience that invites reflection on what it means to find — and to lose — oneself.

I was responsible for creating all systems, helping the art department to implement assets, and largely shaped the puzzles.
