Hey There!
My name is Eduard and I am an Environment Artist!
I am a 22-year-old Game Production and Management student based in Germany, currently pursuing my passion for creating digital worlds.
I’m constantly learning and exploring new techniques in 3D modeling, texturing, and world-building to refine my craft and to become an Environment Artist.
My Passion
My passion for creativity and technology started early. In school, I discovered how much I enjoyed both drawing and programming, and joined the computer science club. I created small games in Java and even modeled a house in Blender.
After finishing school, I wasn’t sure what to study — until I happened to discover a nearby game design course of study. From that moment on, I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do. I love playing games just as much as I love creating them.
At first, I focused on programming because I felt more confident in that area than in art. But over time, I realized how much I enjoyed the creative side of development. Step by step, I shifted my focus toward art, until I eventually left programming behind to fully dedicate myself to 3D modeling.
I’m especially passionate about environment art, because the idea of walking through and exploring a world I’ve built myself feels incredibly rewarding.
Experience
Through my course of studies, I had the opportunity to acquire knowledge of various programs and workflows. This includes software such as Blender, Adobe software including Substance Painter and Substance Designer, Clip Studio Paint, and game engines like Unreal Engine 5, Unity and Godot
Before pursuing my dream of becoming an Environment Artist, I primarily focused on programming, therefore I contributed for a lot of game projects as a programmer.
